Living's father was James Richmond Wolfe and his mother was Elizabeth Geraldine Brown.  His paternal grandparents were Carl Richmond Wolfe and Beatrice Crawford; his maternal grandparents were William Wilfred Pugsley Brown and Lillian Grace Lawrence. He had two brothers and a sister, named Living, Living and Living.
