Henry Wolcott (1565-1655) came from Lidiard, near Wellington, Somersetshire, England to Dorchester, Mass in 1628. He was a freeman in 1630, selectman, and moved to Windsor, Conn in 1636. He was a member of the First General Assembly of Conneticut in 1637, and was in the House of Magistrates of Conneticut in 1643.
