John Matthew was born in Banbury, Oxfordshire, England.1   John Matthew's father was Matthew Wing and his mother was Mary Unknown. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Fulke, Thomas, James, Matthias, Joane, Sarah, Elizabeth and Sibill.  He died about 1630 in London England.2
