Ann was born in New Haven, New Haven, Connecticut.1   Ann's father was William Wilmot and her mother was Sarah Thomas.  Her paternal grandparents were Benjamin Wilmot and Ann Unknown; her maternal grandparents were John Thomas and Tabitha Unknown. She had five brothers and five sisters, named William, Alexander, Thomas, John, Benjamin, Tabitha, Mary, Anna, Elizabeth and Sarah.  She died in 1727.1
