Mary was born on December 22nd, 1796.1   Mary's father was Daniel Williams and her mother was Mary Strahl. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named Joseph, John, Casper, Daniel, William, David, Ephraim, Elizabeth, Ann, Catherine and Sarah.  She was the fifth oldest of the twelve children.1
