Eliphalet was born on April 16th, 1711 in Medfield,Norfolk,Massachusetts.1   Eliphalet's father was Nathaniel Wight and his mother was Mehitable Hinsdale. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Levi, John, Israel, Uzziel, Mehitable, Deborah and Sarah.  He was the second oldest of the eight children.1
