Harvey Weatherhead 
Harvey was born on May 15th, 1873 in Piqua, Miami Co., Ohio.1 Harvey's father was James Adam Weatherhead and his mother was Mary E Sherwood. His paternal grandparents were John Joseph Weatherhead and Sarah Stillwell; his maternal grandparents were William Sherwood and Martha Potter. He had two brothers and a sister, named Samuel Lee, William Guy and Norah. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 24 on March 10th, 1898 in Woodstock, Champaign Co., Ohio.1 General Notes

Death: Champaign County, Ohio, Certificate #41, committed suicide - gunshot wound during a family argument.
Military: Ohio National Guard; Regiment 3 - Pvt - Infantry. Described in military papers as having dark hair, gray eyes, about 5'9" tall. Enlisted 13 Jun 1892 for 5 years. Born in Piqua. Character - excellent. Special Service at Wheeling Creek Riots in 1894 and Protected Champaign County jail and prisoners.
