Agnes was born in 1660 in RI.1   Agnes' father was George Way and her mother was Elizabeth Smith.  Her maternal grandmother was Joanna Smith. She had two brothers and four sisters, named George, Thomas, Elizabeth, Joanna, Alice and Mehitable.  She was the third youngest of the seven children.1
