Butler Washington

Butler was born in 1716 in Bridge's Creek, Westmoreland, Virgina.¹ Butler's father was Augustine Washington and his mother was Jane Butler. His paternal grandparents were Lawrence Washington and Mildred Warner. He had two brothers and a sister, named Lawrence, Augustine and Jane. He had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Samuel, Charles, John Augustine, George, Betty and Mildred.¹
