Edith Rose Wade was born to Edward Wade and Mary Cunningham. They were not married. Edith was born in a "Lying in Home - Destitute Asylum." She was accepted and raised by Suzannah Wade who was either a sister or an aunt of Edward Wade. She was probably single. Later, Suzannah Wade married and became Suzannah Wade Field.
Edith Wade and Moses Clark were divoced about 1910 in Michigan. Edith later married George Schwartz in Detroit. He was an alcoholic.
Edith died from Cerebral Hemorrhage and Concussion within 10 minutes after she was hit and killed by a car while crossing the street. She had gone to the store for groceries and was on her way home.
