1 Joeseph's father was Thomas Christian Vought and his mother was Susan Conklin. His paternal grandfather was Peter Christian Vought; his maternal grandfather was James Conklin. He had three brothers and a sister, named Alfred Christian, Charles, Albert and Martha.1 -
