Chauncy was born in 1889 in Old Grenwich, N.Y.C..1 Chauncy's father was Henry H Vought and his mother was Mary Brown. His paternal grandparents were Nathan Christian Vought and Elizabeth Lent. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Harry H, Douglas, Sheldon Brown, May and Ethel.1 -
