Emma Jane was born on February 14th, 1849 in Rock County, WI.1   Emma Jane's father was John Veysey and her mother was Catherine Carrick. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Thomas F, William B, Harriet, Lorilla, Parmelia and Sarah.  She died at the age of 68 on March 7th, 1917 in Clarkston, Asotin, WA.  She was buried on March 10th, 1917 in Lewiston, ID.1 1
