Minerva E. was born about 1854 in Ohio.1   Minerva E.'s father was Harlow Van Wagner and her mother was Hulda Denman. She had six brothers and three sisters, named John, Andrew, James F., Manlon, Elmar, Frank, Mary J., Melissa and Sarah A..  She was the fifth oldest of the ten children.1
