Calvin Chester was born in 1877.1   Calvin Chester's father was Henry Van Luven and his mother was Ermina Deliah Heath.  His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Van Luven and Sarah Widdifield. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Leonard Henry, Albert Benson, Russel Leo, Eunice, Laura Henrietta, Bessie Almeda, Harriet Almira and Martha.  He died at the age of 42 in 1919.1
