Clare Leroy Van

Clare Leroy was born on October 13th, 1893 in Valentine, Cherry, Nebraska.¹ Clare Leroy's father was Cyrus Mc Clellan Van and his mother was Frances Caroline Harper. His paternal grandparents were Cyrus Van and Rebecca Condra; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Harper and Olive Fuller Brown. He had two brothers and a sister, named Hardin Lee, Earl Levi and Olive Rebecca. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 78 on March 18th, 1972 in Wahoo, Saunders, Nebraska. He was buried on March 20th, 1972 in Lincoln Mem. Park, Lincoln, Nebraska.¹¹
