Sophronia Ellen Lenore Turnbow

Sophronia Ellen Lenore was born on February 23rd, 1841 in Perry, AL.¹ Sophronia Ellen Lenore's father was Samuel Turnbow and her mother was Sylvira Caroline Hart. Her paternal grandparents were Isaac Turnbow and Margaret Tallkitten (Talk; her maternal grandparents were Warren Hart and Ellen Reese. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named John Gillenroy, Issac, Warren, Robert Franklin, Milton Octavious, Samuel Joseph, Alma, Epsy Adeline, Laura Ann and Margaret Ann. She was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. She had nine half-brothers and seven half-sisters, named William, Joseph Smith, Hyrum, Franklin, John, Levi, William Price, William, Hyrum, Caroline, Mariette, Letitia Kesley, Mary Susan, Caroline, Mariette and Mary. She died at the age of 16 on February 5th, 1825 in St. George, Washgn. Co. Ut. She was buried on February 8th, 1925 in St. George City.¹¹
