Henry was born about 1741 in Sussex, Virginia.1   Henry's father was Henry Tuder and his mother was Elizabeth. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Owen, Mathew, Robert, John, William, Elizabeth, Mary Ann, Bridget and Hannah.  He was the oldest of the ten children.  He died about 1814.1
