Elias was born on June 1st, 1756.1 Elias' father was Johann Abraham Transue and his mother was Maria Magdalena Lang. His paternal grandparents were Abraham Transue and Anna Margaretha Mueller; his maternal grandfather was Elias Lang. He was an only child. He died in Shawnee, PA.1 General Notes
