John Tillotson 
John was born in 1618 in YORKSHIRE, ENGLAND.1 John's father was John Tillotson and his mother was Maria Mitchell. His paternal grandparents were James Tillotson and Mary Ann Hudson. He was an only child. He died at the age of 52 in 1670 in SAYBROOK, CONN.1 General Notes

John Tillotson (1618-1670) came from Halifax, Yorkshire, England in the 'James' to Boston, Mass in 1635, was one of the first settlers at Rowley, Mass where he was a proprietor in 1645. He moved to Newbury, Mass in 1648, to Windsor, Conn in 1660, then to Saybrook, Conn in the section that later became the town of Lyme.
