Lillie was born on March 13th, 1868 in Galesburg, Knox, IL.1 Lillie's father was Peter Tiffany and her mother was Helen Evaline Stanley. Her paternal grandparents were Walter B. Tiffany and L. Catherine Unknown; her maternal grandparents were John Orsemus Stanley and Dolly Flansburg. She had six brothers and four sisters, named George, Claude, Frank, Percy, Delbert, Ralph, Mary, Maude, Berenice and Ivy. She was the oldest of the eleven children.1 -
