Newton Thompson

Newton was born on March 2nd, 1827.¹ Newton's father was John Thompson and his mother was Lucy Leonard. His maternal grandparents were Levi Leonard and Keziah Benjamin. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Levi, James, Keziah, Sarah J, Mary E, Melissa and Lucy. He was the third oldest of the eight children.¹
