Abigail was born in New Haven, New Haven, CT.1   Abigail's father was John Thompson and her mother was Dorothy.  Her paternal grandfather was John Thompson. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Joseph, John, Hannah, Mary, Sarah and Rebecca.  She died in 1727 in New Haven, New Haven, Cn.2
