James Gilbert Tebeau 
James Gilbert was born on October 15th, 1824.1 James Gilbert's father was Frederick E. Tebeau and his mother was Hulda Lewis. His paternal grandparents were John Robert Tebeau and Catherine Treutlen. He had two brothers and five sisters, named John Robert, Frederick Treutlen, Ann Catherine Cecilia, Catherine Sarah Melissa, Emeline Gordelia Ellis, Mary Caroline Josepha and Sarah Washington Lewis. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 26 on January 20th, 1851.1 -
