John was born in 1386 in of, Lathom, LANCASHIRE, England.1   John's father was John Stanley and his mother was Isabel Lathom.  His paternal grandparents were William Stanley and Alice Massey.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 51 on November 27th, 1437 in Anslesey, Wales.1
