Hiram Porter Stanley

Hiram Porter was born on December 12th, 1837.¹ Hiram Porter's father was Isaac Morgan Stanley and his mother was Mary Brown. His paternal grandparents were Thaddeus Stanley and Elizabeth Doud. He had two brothers and a sister, named Luther, Charles Jay and Sarah Adelaide. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 56 in 1893.¹
