Clara Belle was born on June 9th, 1866.1 Clara Belle's father was David H. Spindler and her mother was Hannah Denny. Her paternal grandparents were John Spindler and Jane Ewart. She had four brothers and two sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named John Henry, James E., Alvah L., James M., Idolia S., Lillie and Allie.1 -
