Elsie Melinda was born on December 22nd, 1906 in St. Joseph, Missouri.1 Elsie Melinda's father was Charles Snook and her mother was Lena Thurman. She was an only child. She died due to liver cancer at the age of 76 on March 27th, 1983 in Spearfish, South Dakota.1 General Notes

She worked in the Royal Club which she & Royal owned.
She worked as a cook at Ranch A. (a resort in Beulah)
She helped on Marlene & Frank's ranch cooking, driving truck, and as a cowhand when necessary.
She was the four-H grandmother to every kid in Beulah for several generations.
