John Alexander was born on November 2nd, 1885 in Reidsville GA.1   John Alexander's father was James Bell Smith and his mother was Martha Alexander.  His paternal grandfather was James Bell Smith. He had two sisters named Georgia and Donnie.  He died at the age of 81 on November 29th, 1966 in Tattnall Co. GA.1
