Ebenezer was born on December 5th, 1695.1   Ebenezer's father was Ebenezer Smead and his mother was Esther Catlin.  His paternal grandparents were William Smead and Elizabeth Lawrence. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Ebenezer, Joseph, Joseph, Jonathan, Esther, Elizabeth, Thankful, Ruth and Abigail.1
