Rebecca was born in 1635.1   Rebecca's father was Moses Simmons and her mother was Sarah Chandler.  Her paternal grandfather was William Symonson. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Moses, Aaron, John, Thomas, Mary, Elizabeth and Sarah.  She was the oldest of the eight children.1
