Ben F. was born on November 7th, 1867.1   Ben F.'s father was Benjamin F. Sikes and his mother was Louvicy Collins.  His paternal grandmother was Catherine Sikes; his maternal grandparents were William K. Collins and Sarah Holland. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Joseph W., Daniel W., John W., James Henry, Sarah Ann Catherine, Elizabeth, Louvicy, Mary Ann America and Alice Jane.  He was the fifth oldest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 60 on March 4th, 1928 in CEDAR CREEK CEMETERY.1
