Wakeman Sherman

Wakeman was born on April 1st, 1801.¹ Wakeman's father was Timothy Sherman and his mother was Polly Curtis. His paternal grandparents were Joel Sherman and Ruth Terrill. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Heman, Lyman, Curtis, Abel, Uriah, Levi, Anna, Olive and Electa. He was the third youngest of the ten children.¹
