Mary Sharpless 
Mary was born in August 1627.1 Mary's father was Geoffrey Sharpless and her mother was Margaret Ashly. Her paternal grandparents were Richard Sharpless and Cicely. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Richard, John, Margery, Baby, Rebecca and Ellen.1 General Notes

She married from Namptwich, 12 mo, 16, 1667 to Richard Clowes of that place, who d. 3 mo.20, 1671, and she m. 2) 4 mo 19, 1673, Samuel Ellis of Namptwich. They subsequently came to PA and were witnesses to the marriage of her nephew John Sharples in 1692. She d. 2 mo.26, 1703, according to the statement of her said nephew.
