Constable for Redley in 1700 "At a monthly meeting held at Walter ffeucet's the 3rd Oct 1692, John Sharpless & Hannah Pennell, belonging to this meeting laid their intentions of marriage before this meeting, being the first time; the meeting orders Thomas Vernon and Walter ffaucet to inquire concerning his clearness and Margaret Minchall & Lydia Carter to inquire concerning her Clearness and report the same the next month's meeting"...... "At a monthly meeting of 7 Nov 1692 'they' laid their intension of marriage before this meeting, being the second time all things being found clear concerning them, they are refered to their liberty to proceed according to the order of Truth..."
