Burl Sexton

Burl was born on August 23rd, 1893 in Robbins, Scott, Tennessee.¹ Burl's father was Riley Sexton and his mother was Martha Bagley. His paternal grandparents were John Sexton and Rebecca; his maternal grandparents were Phelix Bagley and Lucinda Unknown. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named James Monroe, Dillard, Leamon, Sedley Seaman, Earl (Early), Roscoe, Herstel, Louella and Wealthy (Weltha). He died at the age of 67 on July 27th, 1961.¹
