George Westly Setter 
George Westly was born on April 2nd, 1906 in Flynn Township, Sanilac County, Michigan. George Westly's father was Henry Highdorn Setter and his mother was Matilda Caroline Nichol. His paternal grandparents were Nikolaus Setter and Elizabeth Tuer. He had a brother and two sisters, named Clayton James, Henrietta and Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 75 on August 17th, 1981 in Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, Michigan.General Notes
George Westly was born on a farm. He remained a farmer even after his marriage to Florence. After the birth of his first son, Norman, the family moved to Detroit. George went to work for Detroit Creamery a milkman. He worked there until WWII broke out and then he went to work at Packard Motors to help the war effort. After the war he went back to delivering milk for Kennedy Dairy and then Twin Pines. He retired from Twin Pines Dairy. George also had a repair shop and repaied cars.
