Samuel Jenkins was born on July 27th, 1897 in SC.1 Samuel Jenkins' father was Samuel Jenkins Sellers and his mother was Julia M. Black. His paternal grandfather was P. J. Sellers; his maternal grandparents were William Marion Black and Cecilia E. M. Turner. He had three sisters named Julia Matilda, Alma and Marguerita.
