Alexander Scott 
Alexander was born on July 3rd, 1774 in Spencertown, Columbia County, New York.1 Alexander's father was Mathew Scott and his mother was Mercy Ashley. His paternal grandparents were John Scott and Mary Hughes; his maternal grandparents were Ebenzer Ashley and Thankful Parsons. He was an only child. He died at the age of 73 on August 28th, 1847.1 -
