William Edward Schenck

William Edward was born on January 8th, 1847.¹ William Edward's father was William Edward Schenck and his mother was Jane Whittemore Torrey. His maternal grandparents were William A. Torrey and Adeline Whittemore. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Archibald Alexander, Samuel Torrey, Harris Rogers, Adeline Torrey, Jane Torrey and Ella Whittemore. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 18 on April 8th, 1865 in New York City.¹
