James Oscar Sasser 
James Oscar was born on February 20th, 1868 in Screven Co., GA.1 James Oscar's father was Littleton A. Sasser and his mother was Mary Ann Parker. His paternal grandparents were Howell Sasser and Susan A. Bell; his maternal grandparents were Lemuel Parker and Eliza Griner. He had a brother and three sisters, named William Harrison, Martha Ann, Eliza J. and Susan M.. He was the youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 69 on August 9th, 1937.1 General Notes
