Allen Sasser

Allen was born in March 1842.¹   Allen's father was Howell Sasser and his mother was Susan A. Bell.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas Sasser and Clarisy. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, Howell, Henry B., Littleton A., William M., Ellender, Margaret, Clary, Susan A. and Mary Ann.  He was the fourth youngest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 83 on September 7th, 1925.¹
