William Sapp

William was born about 1819 in Knox, OH.¹ William's father was John Sapp and his mother was Elizabeth Smith. His paternal grandparents were George Sapp and Margaret Logsdon. He had four brothers and six sisters, named George, David Bowan, Raphael, James, Elizabeth, Margaret, Mary, Susanna, Rebecca and Parnelia. He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children.¹
