Frederick was born about 1762 in Kent, MD.1   Frederick's father was Frederick Sapp.  His paternal grandfather was George Sapp. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Adam, George, Joseph, Absolom, Charles, Margaret, Elizabeth and Nancy.  He was the oldest of the nine children.  Frederick is no longer alive.1
