Arminta Florence was born on December 3rd, 1845 in Mt. Vernon, Knox, OH.1 Arminta Florence's father was William Sapp and her mother was Charity Hays Putnam. Her paternal grandparents were George Sapp and Christina Textor. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Jefferson Clay, Lewis Franklin, Madison Napoleon, Ulysses, Adoliza, Mary C. and Sara Elizabeth. She was the youngest of the eight children. She had five half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Noah, Lemuel, Rezin, Alvin, William Henry Harrison, Louisa and Cordelia.1 -
