Samuel was born in April 1643 in Milford Ct.1   Samuel's father was Thomas Sanford and his mother was Sarah Unknown. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Ezekiel, Thomas, Ephraim, Elizabeth and Sarah.  He died at the age of 48 in 1691 in Milford Ct.1
