¹ Zonas Marion's father was Joseph Rountree and his mother was Nancy Nichols. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Rountree and Evy Sturgis. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Alinus Linnaeus, Allen Jones, James Mendreth, Lucius Amandes, Marzavin Jerome, Almarinda Caroline and Louisa Amanda.¹
