Helena Karoline Rominski 
Helena Karoline was born on February 16th, 1881 in Lansing, Ingham Co, Michigan.1 Helena Karoline's father was Gottfried Rominski and her mother was Carolene Hoppe. Her paternal grandparents were Johann A Rominski and Caroline Weihnacht; her maternal grandparents were Ludwig Hoppe and Wilhelmine Maussau. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Johann Ludwig, Frederick Karl, Edward Adolph, Gottfried, Male, Marie Magdalena, Emma and Female. She was the oldest of the nine children.1 -
