Emma Catherine Rogers

Emma Catherine was born on October 14th, 1852 in Autauga, Alabama.¹ Emma Catherine's father was Joseph Byrd Rogers and her mother was Tabitha Elizebeth Massengale. Her maternal grandparents were John Cobb Massengale and Jane Rogers. She had five brothers and four sisters, named John W, James M, William S, Henry J, Joseph Larkin, Martha E, Mary Jane, Sarah A and Frances Minerva. She was the second youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 77 on January 6th, 1930 in Limestone, Texas.¹
