Ezra Roberts 
Ezra was born in April 1709 in Middletown, Middlesex, Connecticut.1 Ezra's father was Samuel Roberts and his mother was Mercy Blake. His paternal grandparents were Unkown Roberts and Catherine Leete; his maternal grandparents were John Blake and Sarah Hall. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Samuel, Ebenezer, Daniel, Mercy, Desire and Sarah. He was the youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 51 on November 4th, 1760 in Albany, Albany, New York.1 General Notes

Ezra Roberts
Ezra Roberts grew up among the factories and industry of the place
where he was born. We might conclude that he chose the trade of pottery,
as that seems to be the only profession that was handed down to the
following generations, and one that was always in demand in the building
up of the western unsettled country.
